"Repeat customer for this company I think it was the fourth time I've had them do work, get scheduled to come out they do a good job get you set up and and whatever if you had an issue it resolved so far mine hasn't really been issues it's all been new installations or something from putting power in my shed to setting up my generator feed and and bypass in my electrical panel today was a outdoor light replacement which took them only like 15 minutes so appreciate the work"

"We had an electrical issue at our home that caused us to lose power, and I called this company feeling extremely worried. Ron answered promptly, listened carefully to what had happened, and immediately started helping us troubleshoot the situation safely. He patiently walked my husband through resetting the main power from the outside panel and isolating the affected area in the garage. Within a short time, we had electricity restored to the rest of the house. What impressed me most was how knowledgeable, calm, and honest he was. He was prepared to send someone out, but once I explained that the home was still covered under warranty and that I had already submitted a service request, he did not try to pressure us into paying for an unnecessary visit. He genuinely cared about helping us and making sure we were safe. Excellent customer service from beginning to end. We will definitely keep his number and recommend him to anyone needing a trustworthy electrician."

"Ron gave me some of the absolute best service ever. Very knowledgeable, polite, and down-to-earth. A huge help on my wiring issues in my home and a giant stress reliever. Anybody needing experts at any time for electrical services and on a budget, call Ron. You won't be disappointed."

"I had an amazing experience with Discount Electrical Service when they installed my Tesla wall charger. From the start, their communication was top-notch, and their team was incredibly professional. They arrived on time, kept everything super clean, and walked me through the whole setup. I felt completely at ease, and the charger works flawlessly. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable electrical service!"

"Had a problem with an RV hookup and our tenant said she hadn’t had power. Ron was able to get out there later the same day (today) and promptly repaired the circuit. Ron is very professional and an excellent communicator. I highly recommend Discount Electrical Service!"

"Ron and David were great! They responded quickly and replaced my outdated 100 AMP panel. I highly recommend!"

""I needed to know if my electrical issues were coming from my breaker panel or just a case of bad appliances. Milo was very professional and thorough. He used his meters to confirm that the house is pulling a steady 240V and even went the extra mile to ensure that the readings were correct. It turns out my appliances just happened to go out at the same time, but I feel much better knowing the home's main electrical connections are tight and verified. Great service!""

"Great job on electric car charger installation. Everything was quick and perfect! I am a property manager and use them for all my electrical work."

"They were professional. Knew exactly how to replace my weatherhead post . Which it is inside my wall. I could not recommend them enough. If your looking for an honest and reasonable electrician. Loo k no more. They showed up on time and even worked in the rain."

"Price was in line with everyone else and he came two days earlier than originally quoted to install my Tesla charger"

"David was great! He was early by a few minutes and fixed the issue within like 15 mins. Very reasonable price and I’m happy because I can do my Christmas lights now"

"Will Definitely use this company again."

"The issue seemed to be a GFCI switch, but that turned out not to be the case. David diagnosed the problem, stated it was neutral wire issue, found the loose wire in the fuse box, and subsequently corrected the issue. The $225 was charged for the service. Much time was saved, frustration avoided, and peace of mind restored. Dave was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and effective."

"Incredibly fast service. Booked an appointment at 9:45 am for someone to come and give us a quote at 11:00 am that same day. Then they were able to come out and complete the work the very next day. All three of the men we dealt with were very kind and knowledgeable. I would 100% recommend them to anyone! Great prices too!"

"I recently had Discount Electrical Services install a Tesla EV charger at my home, and the whole process was smooth and professional from start to finish. Ron and his team arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and completed the installation quickly. The work was neat, and they made sure everything was tested and working properly before leaving. Pricing was fair, and communication was great throughout. I’d definitely recommend Ron and Discount Electrical Services to anyone looking for reliable electrical work or EV charger installation."

"They installed a 50 amp RV plug for me, and were able to schedule it for the same week. Price ended up being 1000 less than another estimate I got, and they even spotted some issues with the panel that other electricians missed. Highly recommended!"

"Quick and easy service. Had an estimate for outlet replacements in the garage, and a fuse box re-label. There was a mis-count on the outlets in the room(was 5, turned out to be 7), but it didn't come at a cost increase! The electrician was kind, polite, and easy to work with."

"If you want an electrical service for home or commercial in middle Tennessee, I can assure you that you only need to call one company! Discount Electric is professional, quick and priced very competitively with everyone we called. They even helped us out with a serious problem that happened days. Before our scheduled upgrade at no charge. These techs are second-to-none! They are simply the best electricians we've ever hired. We upgraded our entire panel and they went out of their way to accommodate our family!!! BEST ELECTRICAL COMPANY WE'VE EVER HIRED!!!"

"Fast and efficient, nice guys who are on top of their game. They installed a outside disconnect and new service panel. Job well done thanks very much."

"Discount Electrical Service installed my generator-changeover box very professionally and also installed power management meters for the two nodes on my interior circuit breaker box. These meters allow me to see exactly how much power I am using rather than rely on the 50-amp breaker on my generator to detect any overload. Backup electrical power is a very involved process that requires professional help, and I got that from DES, including very excellent coordination from the owner. I encourage anyone to install backup power as our grid is vulnerable and there are (IMO) uncertainties looking forward. Thomas Blow Smyrna, TN"

"I've used Discount Electrical on more than one occasion and have been very satisfied with their knowledge, service, and price"

"I highly recommend service with this company had several experiences with them doing work for me. Top notch guys top top notch service."

"Discount Electrical Service was fast, efficient, gave great advise, and was excellent to work with. Looking forward to using Ron for our next project."

"Contractor hired them for our tornado reconstruction. When they didn't come back, I called them and found out what the problem was. They came back and finished the job."

"Discount Electrical service is phenomenal !!! When we had a bad storm last year in 2023 they were the only business that would come out to replace our electrical mast and not charge us an absurd price! We were w/o power during a time of year when it was below freezing and they came out at night, in the freezing cold and repaired everything. They were extremely efficient and bared the cold. They were even willing to work with us on payment! 10/10 service! Do not go corporate, go to Discount Electrical Service!"

"I’ve used DES several times for a wall charger, hot tub wiring, and service panel upgrade and have always found their work to be great and their prices to be competitive. Highly recommend!"

"I purchased my house that built in 1972 and it had fuses. I hired DES to upgrade my panel to circuit breakers. I had a panel I thought they could use. Unfortunately, they couldn’t. They provided me with a new panel and still honored their price estimate. They treated me right and did a great job on the panel. I highly recommend them."

"James from Discount Electrical was awesome. The service was very affordable, completed in a very short amount of time, and he educated me about the process of vehicle charging. I would highly recommend them for your electric needs, you won’t be disappointed."

"We had the best experience with the technician Milo on July 20, 2024. Milo came out to fix our breaker box. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very courteous. He fit us in on a Saturday, and he was able to restore our power in a matter of minutes. We couldn’t be more thankful for the team at Discount Electrical and the top tier service we received."

"These guys were amazing! The person I’d originally hired canceled on me a half hour before the 8am job, and these guys made it to me that same morning shortly after I called them. I bought a house a few months ago that some missing gfis, and several outlets and switches that didn’t work, and I also needed some new outdoor and crawl space outlets installed. When they were working on that they ended up finding exposed wire the sellers were supposed to have taken care of but didn’t, some really weird dangerous DIY wiring, annnd that the breaker didn’t trip like it should, so they then also covered the exposed wiring, redid all my outlets and switches, and replaced the suuuuper old panel. And they got a fan wired and put up, too. They were so sweet, I feel much safer now, and I am SO GRATEFUL."

"David and his team were great they installed a 100 amp plug for us. Great customer service and very reliable. Definitely recommend them"

"We had a new 50 amp RV plug installed and the entire team from quoting to installation were great by being on time, great communication, and of course the work was finished and is exactly as I wanted."

"My Mom, sister Leigh and I moved into our new home in July not realizing just how bad the electrical system was. We have been going through a lot with losing several family members over the last 3 years so when we found out just had bad things were, we were overwhelmed and scared as we didn't have anyway to pay only about 80% upfront. They were kind and considerate and worked with us so we will have heat to survive this coming winter. I am NOT being over dramatic but am stating facts. We didn't have a way to heat our home until they came and replace the basement panel and upgraded our 100 amp service to a 200 amp service. They have been a tremendous blessing to us and want to thank them for the compassionate treatment to us. Thanks ever so much."

"These guys are true professionals. They ran the power for our spa. The price was great. No complaints. Will continue to refer."

"They were wonderful and on time. They replaced an electrical panel for me and were professional and nice and communicated to me because they had to come back when the power company could come out. Never left en hanging. Second time using them and will definitely call them again for any electrical needs!"

"Very pleased with this company and service! I will definitely use them in future projects. They did an excellent job replacing and rewiring my whole breaker box. They have excellent customer service. They were also very affordable and showed up as scheduled. I value my time and that was most appreciated!"

"My wife and I recently acquired a infrared sauna and had to modifications to it and a wall plug to get it to work. Well, after I failed in my attempt to be a “Mr. Fix-it”, my wife contacted Discount Electrical Service. They did an awesome job. From the beginning when they arrived to evaluate the situation and quote me a price, Ron and Joe were knowledgeable, courteous, and explained everything so even I could understand it to explain to my wife. They were about 10min early when they returned to fix our electrical situation and were done in a timely manner. I mean they had to drill a hole in my outside wall, run a wire from one side of my house to the opposite side through my crawl space that’s no taller than 2ft in height, and wire and add a new breaker to my box outside. Then once they did that, they respliced the electrical cord coming from the sauna to correct what I did wrong. (Ha Ha!!) And all that was done in less that 2hrs. I would highly recommend Discount Electrical Service to all who have electrical needs. Don’t hesitate to call them. I will use them again definitely."
